Does the stock market tend to go up when capital gains taxes are raised or lowered?
If the market goes up if these taxes are lowered, why would Obama want to raise them, especially in a recession?
Does he want our economic system to succeed or doesn’t he?
Does he want us to recover from this recession or doesn’t he?

His policies make no sense. The effects of the taxes he wants to raise is well documented, and yet he still wants to proceed with a tax that in the long run will only hurt our economy.

Although there are many considerations for the ups and downs of the stock market, it always has a better chance of upward trends with tax cuts because that allows for expansion of the economy. However, I sincerely believe that liberal democrats, through Obama, have an objective of bringing this nation to its knees by any means possible so as to bring about a European style socialism where all are totally dependent upon and accountable to the government.

that’s a good question, why would he? Raising capital gains hurts the economy. he shouldn’t do it
