Currency Trading…hot money? I don’t fully understand how this works. Well, when a countries currency goes up due to higher levels of Investment how do people benefit from this? As in through currency trading (buy and sell currencies)??? how do people profit with this technique? :S lol

Check out the NASD website. They have a bunch of licenses and I am sure one of them will suit this need.

The only way is to study and pass the test for your brokage license. If not the SEC would be all over you and you will do fed time

It takes a team, an investment process, risk controls, a business plan, initial seed funding, trading systems and enough experience for people to trust you as a portfolio manager before you can start a hedge fund. Choosing a few good securities whether it is over 3 weeks or 30 years does not qualify anyone to run a hedge fund. You might have the skillset and the resources above to start a hedge fund, but many people don’t and think they can start one off a short record of picking stocks in and of itself.
