How do you become a hedge fund analyst?
I’m a senior in high school and the concept of a hedge fund is rather intriguing
I’ve read that it is very quantitative nowadays, which is one of the reasons why such a career is intriguing to me
I plan on majoring in engineering and have no idea what to do afterward to reach this goal help!

Hedge fund analysts tend to have a financial background. Unfortunately, a degree in engineering would not serve you well in pursuing that job.
You would need to major in finance, economics or business for your bachelors. A masters in a closely related field or going to B-school would also be helpful. After school, taking and passing your Series 7 would also be helpful.
Once that is complete, then work as a general analyst or investment adviser for a few years. You should then be well qualified to be hired as a hedge fund analyst. Good luck with your future!
