Is CityIndex a good spread betting broker, and does anybody here on Y!A use it to trade the financial markets?
I have a live spread betting/CFDs trading account with CityIndex. What I would like to know is, is it a good provider for spread betting, and does anybody here on Yahoo Answers personally use it to trade the financial markets with? Is it a good broker for a beginner with practice experience? Please help/advise. Thankls

I think it is as good as any. I suspect some platforms all have their pros and cons, which you will find whether it suits you by using it. I suppose the things to look for are the spreads, costs (of gtd. stop losses etc.), being able to always trade online etc. CityIndex has option deltas for example whereas IG doesn’t.

they are one of the big four – IG, City Index, CMC and Capital Spreads. However, City Index don’t offer the best spreads, you’re better off with Capital Spreads…
