NOTES:
- Yes, I EV trained these Pokemon and I tried to breed for the most appropiate nature as possible for each pokemon.
- ALL of the pokemon on this team HAD the Pokerus and I am willing to trade ANY of my Pokemon with pokerus because I know you guys (and gals) to have some strong and cool pokemon too for competitive battling.
- I tried my hardest to set up a team without the use of www.smogon.com. It’s a great website but I want to test my skill without it.
- I’ve only recently discovered the true form of the game mechanics (i.e. Two years ago.) That means I have a pretty good standpoint of Natures, the EV and the IV system.
- The main idea for my team is beat up on my opponent as much as possible. While my opponent falls for constant entry hazards, I smack them around with powerful moves. I have one baton passer, Typhlosion as my special sweeper, Dragonite as a good supporter, and two pokemon that can provide entry traps.
- My question is… Can you guys rate my Pokemon team as it is now? Is good for competitive battling? Are there better movesets for my strategy? Please answer my question with AS MUCH INSIGHT AND EVIDENCE AS POSSIBLE. And no, I have no intention on catching any legendary pokemon due to the fact that I will be looked down upon if I do and they are banned from competitive play.

The people before me are clearly not gamers. Real gamers are not biased, like me.
Going in to your topic, your team is good. There are some flaws though.
Typhlosion is good, but I would add Earthquake on there.
Metagross is a pretty fast Pokemon, so giving it the item Iron Ball is a bad idea. Plus giving him the ability Trick Room is not a good idea since you have four fast Pokemon and you there’s a chance your foe might have more slower Pokemon with them, giving you the disadvantage.
Forretress is good, but having two metal Pokemon would be bad if you fought someone with fire-type Pokemon or a Pokemon with fire-type attack.
Scizor…change him cuz you already have Forretress. If I were you, I would choose Swampert for it can learn many attacks and makes an excellent lead due to its high defensive stats, excellent coverage against other leads, and access to Stealth Rock. It is also unaffected by electric moves because it’s also a ground-type. I would make it learn Surf; Ice Beam, against grass-types; and Toxic, to annoy the foe.
Absol is pretty good, but I would switch Night Slash for Sucker Punch, and Swords Dance
Psycho Cut or Future Sight to fight against fighting-types or Aerial Ace for fighting and bug-types.
Dragonite is also good, but you’re lacking attacks against ice-types making you hopeless against them. I suggest using Earthquake(again, cuz Earthquake RULEZ!!!); Flamethrower, to counter attack ice-types; Dragon Claw or Dragon Pulse against other dragon-types, and Roost or Heal Bell/Safeguard just to be safe.
