What is a hedge fund?
I keep hearing a lot about hedge funds, but have no idea what it is. Can you explain it in simple terms so I get it?

Basically its just a bunch of people that pool their money together and invest it. The hedge funds you hear about on the news have people that invest millions of dollars into them and can be worth billions. They usually use a risky investment strategy which is why so many of them are going bankrupt now that the stock market is tanking
