be nice, the stock market was not closed today, but closed early at 1pm est. It will be closed for the 4th all day and resume on thursday.

The U.S. stock market closes on national holidays, including the one that celebrates the birth of the country. Hence, the stock market is closed on 4th of July. But fear not … you can go watch Transformers instead. And I’m not quite sure which would be a bigger gamble: buying stocks, or seeing another Michael Bay movie?
