Back in 2006, Michael Steele ran for the Senate from Maryland. He lost to Ben Cardin. It appears that there may have been some funny business with how he spent campaign funds. The investigative team of one of Baltimore’s television stations is reporting that the FBI is looking into whether Steele funneled money to a company owned by Steele’s sister. Theoretically, the money was for campaign expenses, but her firm was involved in commodities trading. Seems a stretch. A spokesman said the money might have been used to pay for six busloads of poll workers on Election Day in 2006. The buses carried several hundred black men from Philadelphia — many of whom were homeless — as part of a strategy to attract black support , which to me seems to be absolutely pathetic.

What do you think? Seems to me the end is near.
